Questions appraisers ask
What do you check before I go live?
Your credential against the body that issued it and that the practice is real and trading. Usually a day. If we cannot confirm it we email you and you are not charged again until it is resolved.
I only work remotely. Is that a problem?
Remote is its own filter and a section on every city page so you appear in places with no local appraiser. That is why a search is never empty.
Do you take a cut of my fees?
Clients contact you directly and pay you directly. The listing fee is the whole arrangement. We never see the transaction.
What happens if I cancel?
Your page comes down and your state-page slot goes to someone else. You can restart later.
Can a shop list or only independents?
A shop can list if the appraisals are written by someone credentialed. We name the person not the storefront.
Will you list me without asking?
Never. Some entries are marked "listed from public information" drawn from what an appraiser already publishes. Any of them comes down the same day it is requested.
